Inside Sales/Service Coordinator (Columbus, NE)

We are looking for a customer service professional that wants to build and grow our customer base.  You’ll be working with a driven team of experts who are making a positive impact, getting results, and doing it within a culture focused on teamwork.
 

The Sales-Service Coordinator will support the Sales & Service Team on various tasks such as handling incoming & outgoing customers, estimating & scheduling customer jobs, processing quotations & sales orders, and shipping & receiving of warehouse product.  Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are a must.  This position will report directly to the Operations Manager.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist walk in customers, pull orders, and load customer product.
  • Communicate effectively with customers through incoming calls or emails to meet their requirements, while following company guidelines.
  • Work harmoniously with other employees, giving assistance necessary to satisfy customer’s needs.
  • Schedule, track, and coordinate repair processes among departments to ensure timely completion of jobs and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate with customers, relative to estimating and delivery of jobs for repair.
  • Contact vendors to establish price and availability of replacement parts and/or repair items for customer jobs. Complete purchasing activities via purchase orders.
  • Review and maintaining correct Branch physical inventory on a consistent basis.
  • Analyze and maintain open order and open quotes reports on a weekly basis.
  • Process new product sales, receiving, invoicing, and credits.
  • Perform a wide variety of duties related to timely ordering of stock and non-stock products and inter-departmental transfer of items for the Company.
  • Monitor all open purchased orders and bring to resolution any outstanding issues.
  • Assist in handling purchasing of all shop equipment and supplies. (Such as paint, rewind, bolts, materials, etc.)
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by Branch Manager.

 

Requirements:

Experience Preferred: High School Diploma or GED.  Experience in general mechanics, warehousing, computer literacy and phone sales are desirable, though not essential.  Will train.

Location: In-Office.
Hours: This is a full-time position.

The Electro-Mechanical Technician will inspect and repair various types of rotating equipment, such as Electric Motors, Pumps, Gearboxes, and Generators. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to problem solve are a must. This position will report directly to the Operations Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

  •  Primary responsibility will be the disassembly, inspection, repair, & assembly of rotating equipment.
  • Work hours are day shift with some potential overtime.
  • Become a craftsman of a unique trade. We will train!
  • We provide detailed quality control procedures.
  • Must love working with your hands.
  • Work on something different every day.
  • Be a part of a Team that values employee feedback.

Job Title: Sales Representative

Northwest Electric is the Midwest’s expert in industrial electromechanical sales, service and solutions.

The Sales Representative will sell and market our company’s products and services to new and existing customers within the Siouxland Territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of each of the company’s service and product offerings.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing Customers in your assigned territory.
  • The ability to analyze the customer’s business needs and offering the best product or service solution.
  • Introduce new products and services to customers in assigned territory.
  • Partner with inside sales staff to follow up on assigned sales leads and quotations.
  • Gain a working knowledge of competing products and companies.
  • Gain product knowledge through catalogs, sales bulletins, sales meetings, factory schools, and company sponsored training, personal experiences, etc.
  • Plan sales activities to meet personal and company long-term objectives by setting weekly, monthly and yearly goals.
  • Analyze sales dollars of your territory frequently, using sales summaries that are provided. Review results monthly to determine relative status and adjust sales activities accordingly.
  • Manage costs by maintaining accurate records of travel, mileage and sales-related expenses.
  • Work with Operations to establish yearly sales budget and goals for the Siouxland Territory.
  • Responsible for achieving yearly sales budget and goals for the Siouxland Territory.
  • Continually work to develop sales skills to be successful in this position.
  • Use sales tools and software provided by the company to update and maintain accurate customer records and sales calls.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum level of education: high school diploma and two years of collect credit or Bachelor’s degree is a plus
  • Experience in Industrial Sales
  • Knowledge/background in either the electrical or mechanical fields is preferred
  • Valid driver’s license (Required)

 

Northwest Electric, LLC. is a 24 hour, 7 days a week, 365 days a year sales and serviceoperation. With that in mind, all employees are required to provide the company with an effective means of communicating with them, when necessary, on an after-hours basis. Contact with our customers after normal business hours is considered an essential function of this position.
